Our Purpose
The NDULR was established with a singular mission: to cultivate a vibrant intellectual community centered on rigorous legal scholarship at the undergraduate level. Operating under the Pre-Law Student Board, the NDULR provides a dedicated forum for students across all academic disciplines to publish original research on domestic, international, constitutional, and theoretical law. We believe that exceptional legal analysis is not reserved solely for graduate students and legal professionals; it is a skill that can and should be honed during the undergraduate years.

The NDULR operates as an independent academic journal affiliated with the Pre-Law Student Board (PLSB). While established as an initiative under the PLSB umbrella to support Notre Dame’s pre-law community, the NDULR functions as a separate organization with its own distinct charter, executive board, and governance. Our executive team maintains total editorial independence over all peer-review, editing, and article selection processes.
